Facebook agrees child safety plan

I recently read an article about child safety on Facebook in BBC news.
It is very interesting to read. I had never thought that such social networks as Facebook and Myspace would be a threat for our children. I have always thought of them (Facebook, Myspace) as a social area where i can communicate and have fun with my friends or meet people with the same interests.
Social networks should be a safe place for everyone and especially for our children. Such movements for making Internet a safer place should be encouraged.
Children today use the Internet for many reasons including educational purposes. It is our obligation to provide them safe resources and do not expose them in any kind of danger which would traumatize their pure souls.
